Nicotine liquids compliance in Scotland, Premium: Premium
Nicotine liquids advice for Scotland, covering compliance, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
We spent weeks putting nicotine liquids options through their paces so the recommendations here reflect real use. What surprised us most was how little the 1.0 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 35:65 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber.
Search results for nicotine liquids in Scotland are crowded, which is why this page focuses on what actually changes the experience. The silicone tip mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips.
Airflow control on the AEKU Slim is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. Vapour production is more than adequate at 40, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all.
The silicone tip mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips. Comparing this against a 35:65 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume. The 8.0 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem.
Charging over USB-C takes about 83 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. Two things to check before ordering: the USB-C socket on the base and whether the 1.0 Ω mesh coil is the newer generation. Battery behaviour is where the AEKU Slim earns its keep: the 5000 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 40 and recharges over USB-C.
The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. What surprised us most was how little the 1.0 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 35:65 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The Champagne Gold finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Coconut Pineapple: creamy, tropical, described as smooth coconut layered over pineapple. On a 35:65 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.0 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Scotland
Availability in Scotland is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.0 Ω mesh and the USB-C are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 thread matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and GBP rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
