Nicotine liquids safety checks in Scotland, Essential (90 W)
Nicotine liquids advice for Scotland, covering safety checks, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Local availability in Scotland shapes the practical answer more than the marketing does. What surprised us most was how little the 2.0 Ω regular coil changes the draw character compared with the 40:60 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber.
Local availability in Scotland shapes the practical answer more than the marketing does. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own.
Pricing in Scotland shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current GBP rates rather than a fixed list price. Airflow control on the Robust Pro is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. Vapour production is more than adequate at 150, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying.
Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 2.0 Ω regular mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense. In Scotland, availability of the 2.0 Ω regular coil is the practical bottleneck, not the device itself. The wide bore mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips.
The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 40:60 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. Comparing this against a 40:60 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume.
For value hunters, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge. If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 40:60 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Vanilla Custard: creamy, rich, described as warm vanilla bean with a smooth cream finish. On a 40:60 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 2.0 Ω regular mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Scotland
Availability in Scotland is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 2.0 Ω regular and the USB-C are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 bottom pin matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and GBP rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
