How we test Nicotine liquids in Scotland (Vanilla Custard) (v2)
Nicotine liquids advice for Scotland, covering spare parts, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Local availability in Scotland shapes the practical answer more than the marketing does. Comparing this against a 50:50 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume.
There is no single best nicotine liquids for everyone in Scotland, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something. The narrow bore mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips.
The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 50:50 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly. Pricing in Scotland shifts with import duty, so the figures here reflect current GBP rates rather than a fixed list price. Airflow control on the Robust Pro is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank.
Charging over Type-C fast charge takes about 27 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. Two things to check before ordering: the Type-C fast charge socket on the base and whether the 1.4 Ω mesh coil is the newer generation. Battery behaviour is where the Robust Pro earns its keep: the 1200 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 50 and recharges over Type-C fast charge.
What surprised us most was how little the 1.4 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 50:50 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. Vapour production is more than adequate at 50, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all.
Delivery across Scotland is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window. The build quality on Robust Pro is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Frozen Berry Sorbet: sweet, icy, described as cold berry inhale with a soft exhale. On a 50:50 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.4 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Scotland
Availability in Scotland is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.4 Ω mesh and the Type-C fast charge are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 thread matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and GBP rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
If any of the above addresses what you were trying to solve, the rest of the pages in this section cover it in more detail.
